For example, no coffee in the rooms (except packets of instant espresso they will deliver if you call), wash cloths, cleaning of your room during your stay unless specifically requested, water spills ALL over the floor from the shower due to the design, and the beds are truly terrible. "I really enjoyed my stay there, the staff was very friendly and check in process as well as check out process was quick easy. The room was very nice and I loved the city view. It was five minute walk away from Petco Park, and 15 minutes walk away from all the bars in downtown."

"The room was clean but there were not enough towels even though we had booked for three people. Staff. Were not helpful in getting more towels and were. It friendly. Parking was behind the building and had to walk passed people shooting up drugs to get the car. The hotel was in the gas lamp but the area was not well maintained. There was lots of noise at night which made it hard to sleep including a dying carbon monoxide alarm that beeped the whole night. Def not worth the money"

"Fantastic hotel, Fantastic atmosphere. Love that the hotel was originally a bank built in 1928. Staff was always very pleasant and helpful. Ordered room service for breakfast and it arrived quickly and was quite delicious. Valet staff was also very helpful and courteous. Will definitely stay here again."

"I should have taken a picture of room 21. The bed had stains on the side. The restroom tub was disgusting. The place smelled. The only food part was the nice gentlemen at the lobby who checked us in. The place looks really nice on the website. It’s not that. Would not go back."

"Room was ok, somewhat outdated. There was a stale odor in the room. The single bed room was small. Elevator is tiny. There is a 25 dollar per night parking fee. I found a hair in the bed the first night. The room is conveniently located and close to restaurants, and activities. Staff was very friendly."

"The property is very well located with restaurants and shops nearby. I found it to be an excellent option in terms of cost-value. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again. On the other hand, I would like Expedia's reservation process to be more explicit regarding accommodation payments, as sometimes the charge is made directly and other times they collect at the hotel, as was the case here, which confuses the customer."

"Parking and proximity to the Padres game is the best thing about this property. The smell was very off putting. Definitely needs a scent, it was an annoying Bleach plus Insect spray in the air. The internet password does not work. The Air condition needs conditioning. It’s a nice room if you just need to put your stuff in a room while you’re downtown and want to sleep for an hour or two. I could open the door from the bed… so it’s not the best. 3/10 for me"
