"Bar was great, friendly staff and locals. Dinner was great both nights we ate there and really good cooked breakfast to start the day. Recommend as a place to stay to explore the area. "

"Great location for Saltburn & Whitby, lovely, quiet village. Sunday lunch was delicious, big portions, very good value for money. Would highly recommend. The room was clean & very comfortable with fantastic views. The bed was very comfy too. The staff were all very friendly and attentative. Will definitely visit again.

"We had a great stay at the Royal Hotel. The room was lovely, great bed, very comfy! Also very quite, On one day the was a wedding reception in the Hotel and we didn't hear a thing!
The breakfast was also excellent! With very nice coffee.
Well done Royal Hotel Whitby, we cant wait to get back for another stay.
