"I had an extremely poor experience at easyHotel Ipswich and would not stay here again. Before arrival, I contacted the hotel to add my daughter to the booking but received no response. Instead, I was sent a generic reminder to bring ID, which I did (including my passport), yet no ID was even checked on arrival. We arrived at 9:30pm and were given a room that was not suitable for a family, despite my prior request. When I raised this at reception, I was told the hotel was fully booked and that...

"It has a warm and friendly atmosphere, with visible staff @ the front desk, hallway and kitchen. The room is clean and well-stocked. We also love the breakfast buffet."

"Only two little issues, one was the shower was fine but water sprayed everywhere when trying to wash and secondly which I know you cannot fix is it’s close to railway station so hear trains up till 2 in the morning if bathroom door isn’t closed, besides that room was nice and overall it was a nice stay."

"Even though there are positives in that this hotel is located in a quiet area and has ample parking I do not know how it is rated a 4 star. The decor is from the 70’s and needs a serious update. Even though the website says there is a fan in the room I had to go down to reception and ask for one. The carpets need replacing and there is no ramp into the reception area so you have to carry any luggage up and down stairs. No fridge in the room either. The wi-if was so bad I couldn’t have a 5 minute...
