"Dinner was amazing!!! Loved the location and the atmosphere of an old grand hotel. The only negative was there was a fragrance used in either the laundering of bedding or cleaning that bothered me a bit. Otherwise, excellent all around!"

"Everything was great, from early checkin, to the size of the room. Service was wonderful and the location a short Uber to bars and restaurants. We only stayed one night so did not get to experience the restaurant only the bar. Would recommend if in Cork. "

"Beautiful location. The older lady on breakfast duty was fabulous, so helpful and cheerful. Hot tub not particularly hot and no power on the jets plus the towels are miniscule. Pool lovely. Everything very clean. Beds very comfortable and food great. "

"The room is huge with a fantastic view of the ocean. Most pleasing to look at.Staff friendly and receptionist too.Food great just found it too rushed with the servings.Would definitely recommend Hotel to implement room service…..Otherwise great value for money "

"Very nice location. Bus stop basically on property and promenade was right across the street. Easy walk to pubs and casino but bus was nice to get to the main part of town. Good bar food and nice to have drinks available on property. Used the pool area which was nice. "

"Overall, a fair stay. Not as nice as the pictures lead you to believe but it wasn't anything bad. Expected more of a "luxury" vibe and it was a pretty standard hotel, seemed a little outdated to be considered "luxury" at this point. Was pretty bummed because we stayed on a Sunday and the email didn't highlight the earlier closing time for the gym and sauna so we didn't get to experience those at all, which was a bummer.
