"Great location in the heart of Winchcombe but tucked away and private. A well equipped cottage with washing machine and dishwasher, lovely big bed, comfortable lounge and a courtyard garden. There was a somw noise from the pub garden two doors down, particularly when they had a live band on, but it didnt go on too late. The bath was one of those with an accessible door on it so you can walk in and a hoist which made it a little strange , but shower was fine. Great stay. Will stay again."

However, as the room was located on the top floor, it might be challenging for guests who are not very steady on their feet. Large suitcases also had to be carried up by myself, as the staff were not able to assist. "Arriving in the charming village and then pulling up to Buckland Manor was a dream! Every detail has been seen to with lovely staff, well furnished rooms, gorgeous peaceful grounds. We could pop on many walking paths right from the door and roam the countryside. One wouldn't need to leave this property for days with every need met beautifully. Exquisite!"

"Good parking spaces behind the property, very clear information about finding the property. The apartment was spacious, very clean, lovely decor and very comfortable. We got some advice on where to find a nice local pub, and ate in the centre close to the property. Overall absolutely lovely."

"Absolutely lovely building and room was lovely, stayed in room 216, floor was very squeaky in certain areas and looked like a leak patch in ceiling when you walk in but didn’t put us off. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bar staff were excellent as was the very nice lady Phoebe on reception, she was lovely and welcoming , Breakfast was fabulous, had full English, small portions but very tasty, with a wide selection of buffet style breakfasts as well, cereals/ toasts ect. "Beautiful, historic building, with lovely, tastefully decorated rooms. The staff were very helpful. Good breakfast was included in the room price. We were there during a heatwave and the room stayed uncomfortably warm all night, but I do not fault the hotel for this. Would definitely stay again, though perhaps not in midsummer. 😄"
