"There wasn't much I didn't like, however I booked and paid for a ground floor room,however I was told that the ground floor rooms were already occupied and I ended up on the first floor. My opinion is that they broke their contract. So beware that they might do the same . The previous owners always gave me a ground floor room"

"Excellent place to stay. Short walk from Windermere town and the shops and restaurants there. Gorgeous property, comfortable beds and the breakfast was excellent. Only complaint was the bathrooms. Very tall tub walls and very slick tub surface with no non-slip shower/tub mats, so it was a miracle I didn't slip and didn't get seriously hurt when taking a shower."
