"Tiny, no-frills room. Great for a short stay in Chicago. Had a few minor issues with the room. The router light located in the bed room is fairly bright which may be an issue for those who struggle to sleep in a room that isn't completely dark. The AC unit in the room I was given was also not working (which for me didn't end up being an issue as it was fresh outside, so opening a window did the trick. "Have stayed on many occasions at the Claridge as it is a smaller hotel and located just where I like to be on the Gold Coast. Staff super friendly and helpful, have a nice happy hour. Only issue I had this trip is that our room was a terrible design, particularly that of the bathroom which seems to be stuck in where they could fit it. Difficult to navigate during the night, tight quarter and awkward door position. Other than that , had a great stay but would not stay again in that room"

"Upon arrival I was super excited for my stay. I was trying out a new hotel for my birthday getaway. Once checked in I had to switch rooms because it was dirty, (bed was not made, mattress was stained, curtains were stained) damp and hot in the room. "One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Insanely affordable and beautiful, spacious rooms. Great, firm beds with soft sheets that don't hold in heat. TV's were great and, while channels were limited, had good options as well as access to streaming. Well prepared and delicious continental breakfast."

The West Adam’s Club Quarters is an old and outdated property but room was ok, cleaned daily and the staff super friendly. Location was unique, it is near a lot of opportunities to see points of interest in this beautiful city. Near train stations and places to have lunch/diner "

"For the price paid I wish I received more. No gym or amenities. Not even a microwave so no need to bring outside food that you need to reheat. One staff member was friendly. Room was okay, kinda stuffy even with the air on. It’s not a bad hotel but based on what I’m used to when traveling, I wouldn’t return to this hotel"
