"Excellent lodging, 25 min walking to downtown or 5 min driving. Very spacious room with a large balcony, comfortable bed, clean and free of clutter, all one needs for a pleasant stay:mini fridge, microwave and coffee/tea maker. Easy and plentiful parking on premises. Truly recommend this place considering it has a roof top terrace as well."

"We have stayed here before and were very happy with it. Clean, well lit room, nice bed and shower facilities. We bring a lot of our own meals with us and had plenty of space to put everything, tho a combo frig/freezer would have been better. Spacious, good storage, well laid out. Friendly staff. A few minor items- the toilet is very small and can be hard to get off of. The wifi has been improved, and works well- TV was easy to work and very intuitive. Not a lot of eateries in true walking distance, but plenty of options within a very short drive, also grocery store and Starbucks for the coffee addict. Excellent no-frills place for the budget conscience."

"The Ava hotel has only been open for one year. We met the owners, and they are so nice. There are so many great amenities, and the tasting rooms often stop by for free tastings for hotel guests. The hotel is right in the heart of downtown, so everything is walkable. The hotel aesthetic is top-tier. I love everything about the hotel. There’s a market on weekends where you meet a lot of the locals that own many of the shops downtown. "
