"Pleasantly surprised. I love this isn’t a franchise hotel. I stayed for 2 days. They have food optiions and a bar in the evening. I didn’t use the pool but saw it was near the elevator. I like the location because some hotels you have to awkwardly walk around near the front desk in your swimwear. Breakfast staff was friendly & attentive. Front desk staff upon arrival came across annoyed, less welcoming than other staff. All parking is front of hotel. There’s a convenience store in walking dance, hotel is close to interstate. There’s a car dealership behind hotel. If I ever have to stay in Newport, I’d definitely stay here again."

"We stayed at a Holiday Inn Express on the way to our vacay, and it was so good that we looked for another to stay at on the way home. When reading hotel reviews online, it’s easy to become confused by such good and bad reviews, so it’s a relief to know that Holiday Inn Expess is a sure thing! Very clean rooms, good water pressure, excellent breakfast (with really crispy bacon!) and friendly staff. Couldn’t have asked for better."
