"This was our first international trip. We chose Teddington Lodge as it was within walking distance to our son and daughter-in-law who we were visiting. I was apprehensive at first as we do not travel often and this was the first time staying at a property without a front desk. My concerns were short lived as the management couldn't have been more helpful. Every message to them was answered promptly (and kindly!) They checked in on us via messaging during our stay to be sure all was well. I...

"Relatively clean and comfortable, but it was next door to an Irish Pub and the walls/windows were not insulated for sound. Good news is they played a bunch of bangers! Bad news is they played them until 2 am. Great place if you're looking to party till late. Bad option if you want to sleep while it's dark..."

"Hotel appears to have closed down. No check-in information received, no response to messages, turned up to find no way in so had to urgently find somewhere else to stay. Beware."

"Firstly this is anything but a hotel. The property was not as described. No stove, nor oven. Heating seemed a luxury option. It spent more time not working, and on the last day waited 12 hours for it to be turned back on. Owner obviously knew what the issue was! Expedia did nothing to assist in resolving the matter. "
