"Only one person was helpful and friendly when we first arrived, but it was all downhill from there. Breakfast items run out quickly, and if you even ask about them, you get the rudest treatment. The soaps in the room were not filled upon arrival, and if you ask for refills or even fresh towels, you get the same attitude. The owners or managers need to hire better personnel who actually care about serving this hotel’s guests."

"I am very picky about cleanliness and let me tell you…I couldn’t find one single thing out of order. We had just come from a similarly rated hotel in New York and Penn’s View was 10 times better. Very friendly staff and excellent location in historic area. Had dinner at Panorama and it was fabulous!"

"This is an exceptional place to stay. The reason it’s a 4 star not a 5 is because there were A LOT of kids for lacrosse and they screamed in the pool and took over the entire pool and lobby. They ran down the hallways and I feel the staff - who was really phenomenal- should have told the parents (who had no manners) to behave with consideration for all the guests who were staying. The staff did not and the guests including us could not use the pool or sleep until 10:00pm when the pool was...
