"Staff so friendly and helpful. Found room quite warm in the day but in evening was able to open windows fully to get some air in (stayed in April). I imagine would be very hot in summer even with fan provided in room. Walls are very thin, not a problem for me as thankfully my neighbours were quiet but I know other people were not so lucky. Was able to do me a vegan breakfast in the morning which I was happy with. I would stay again if I was in the area and needed a good value place to stay. "

"Hawkstone is a fabulous place to stay. A truly beautiful building in an off the beaten track location in the Shropshire countryside. It has a lovely garden to explore and a gym for those with more energy. The breakfasts were fresh and varied too. And not least of all the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
