"The property wasn’t ready when we arrived for 3pm, eventually ready at 5pm. When we arrived the fridge was not turned on so we could not refrigerate anything for several hours, the doors were left closed so when opened the fridge smelled awful & very unhygienic. Cutlery & utensils were rusty & in very poor condition. "Excellent proximity to Manchester convention centre, China Town, theatre and oxford Road rail station etc. Good clean comfortable bed. Pity no provision of simple tea making facility in the bedroom. Breakfast is less than basic for the breakfast price paid. One receptionist being difficult, refused to print receipt when not booked through hotel directly. But another reception at other time happily attended the request. "

"What a gem of a place! Beautiful original pub building. Bedroom was spacious and clean. We had a room with a double and a single bed. The double was a bit too hard for us, but the room has everything you need, so can't complain. Breakfast was really impressive and everything was cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We feel like we've found a gem and will definitely use again when we've got a gig in Manchester."
