"This was the first time staying at this property and overall our experience was excellent. Wish we had more time to stay to experience all it had to offer. Wish they had postcards a traveler could get for the property and/or more information on the history associated with Brasstown."

"The Lodge is located very near the fairgrounds and very close to the restaurant mentioned in the description of the Lodge. We parked our car and did not use it until we left. The Lodge has a beautiful setting to sit and watch the variety of boats and water "toys" I on the lake. Be prepared to find a breakfast place; the "free" breakfast has good coffee. If we come to another event at the fairgrounds we will book at the lodge."

"The cabin was clean and very comfortable, and the staff was kind and patient (being tired after a long day on the road and a little absent minded I immediately locked my key in the room lol). The only glitch was that the hot tub was inoperative at first, but they sent someone down right away to fix it. We were looking forward to jumping in after our long day on the road, and so we had to wait quite a while for it to heat up enough to use, but at least we did get to use it and it was lovely. ...

"This property is not well maintained, and the room was dirty. There were smudges on the bathroom mirror and the hall mirror. The carpet was dirty. I did let management know and they said they had new staff that they were training."

"This is a lovely, unpretentious motel located in Murphy. Easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. It is about a 10-12 minute drive to the John C Campbell Folk School and easy driving to various trails and scenic spots."

"During our stay no one cleaned our room and we had to call the front desk for new towels everyday. The breakfast is subpar and ants were seen near the food. The breakfast is all cold items but there is microwaveable sandwiches. The suite we booked is nothing like what the picture shows. The picture they use for the suite is either A.I, fake, or some other place. The suite bathroom was very small and had no counterspace at all. Only one person could fit in the restroom at a time.
