"The breakfast was good and changed slightly day by day....the staff that ran the restaurant and bars were great, even the boss came out to wait on tables and find out if everything was going ok. The pool with the adjacent bar/restaurant (u can get the restaurant food there too) was the spot to be if you wanted a more lively atmosphere. There are a lot of places to stay but the convience of being close to the airport for an early morning flight cannot be understated. Now, in Costa Rica it is very difficult to get around, it can take 1 to 2 hours to go 10 miles by car, with someone who knows how to drive there..... much can be said "

"Shuttle service convenient and fast. Breakfast was good. And staff was kind and friendly. "

"Our first night was ok. The AC unit didn't work very well but it stayed cool enough to sleep. The 2nd night however was not good. The AC unit stopped working all together. Went down to reception and they brought up a small air cooler but it wasn't working either and the maintenance guy said he was going to tell his boss what was going on and would be back. After 30 min he never returned. I went down and talked to security and the security guy told me that the maintenance guy had told him if I come looking for him to let him know that he had done all he could that we just needed to report it in the morning. That didn't help that night when the room was. 86°. Fahrenheit and no AC. What really set me off was the guy saying he was going to talk to his boss and would be back and then just leaving because it was time for him to leave and not even bothering to come back to tell us anything just left us sitting there. That's unacceptable."

"Everything went well. The air conditioning worked and a buffet breakfast was available. However, I was there when a youth tour was there and they ate most of some of the dishes and additional wasn't put out until they finished breakfast so there was not much when I arrived. My bad for not asking for more. The grounds were very beautiful and quiet."

"This hotel is the perfect spot for your first day or last day in Costa Rica. The property was beautiful with lots of birds, and had a great pool and restaurant/bar. They offer shuttle service for a fee to the airport - we booked one at 4:45 a.m. The staff was so kind and helpful - one staff member let me use her personal cell phone when mine wouldn't work. I was also allowed to help her pluck a mango out of a tree with a long fruit picker - she then cut it up and offered it to us to enjoy! Thank you! Very relaxing stay."

"The room is spacious and clean. I didn't like that the TV wasn't facing the bed or the sofa. The staff is friendly. The pool is large and clean. Breakfast is very good. The Italian restaurant is good and has reasonable prices for a hotel."
