Hotel Principe
Loved this hotel! It's a beautiful old building and we had a lovely room that opened onto a balcony. It's right on the grand canal and short walking distance to the train station. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was very good. 30 minutes walk to St. Mark's square. You can't go wrong here

Venice Maggior Consiglio
Breakfast was cold, not fresh. Elevator was broken. The Staff was not that nice from the begging. The payment has to be done before the stay at check-in.

Carnival Palace Hotel
This lovely hotel has a fantastic location next to Water Bus stop and many restaurants. The staff were wonderful. We joked that our only criticism is that the room didn't have a corkscrew making it the perfect hotel as we had something to complain about!!
