"The Public was an amazing experience! The only reason a put a 4 star instead of 5, is because there is a $105 mandatory charge before you can check in. It gives you access to the roof and wifi, but $100 is too much to charge! Other than that, the room was fantastic, every employee we interacted with was amazing. "

"Great hotel. I was not thrilled that there was no one at the back entrance to valet our car. I had to go find someone who was sitting in the valet office. Also, there was no one to get our bags. Even after we checked in, there were attendants standing there and no one offered to take our bags. The front desk was great and we got an early check in so that was great."

"The New Yorker is my favourite hotel in Manhattan. It is the art deco style and the history of this hotel that makes me love this hotel. The old photos they have are great but also make me sad as they show how grand things once were. One can easily imagine Fred Astaire dancing in the ballroom in the 30s with Ginger Rogers. If I had a time machine that is one of the first places I would go."

"Good overall hotel, rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is friendly. The hotel is basic with one restaurant and small gym, not much facilities in the hotel. I booked a premium room, it was big and spacious with good amenities, however no view from the room, it was on 10th floor, not sure if higher floors have better views but when i asked to change i was told its gonna be the same even from higher floors.. The only real negative point for me was the noise coming from the adjacent room through...
