"All round the hotel was in the right location for our needs. The only thing was we were in a room in the roof space so it was restricted with head room, so if you got up in the night you had to remember to bend or you would hit your head , recommend when booking request you are on the lower floor as the bedrooms look more roomy and lager especially if you are staying for a few days. "I was visiting the O2 Academy Bournemouth and this place was just round the corner from the venue. Parking was easy and my room was very nice with a comfy bed. The next day when I checked out, I was ok to leave my car in the car park and wonder down to Boscombe Beach and have a look around. I would recommend this for a trip to the O2 or for a beach break as it is so close to the seaside. I will be coming back to this place again!"

"The Strand is in a great location; a short walk from the town or slightly longer walk to the beach. With parking also available it's a very convenient place to come for a few days at the seaside. Staff are friendly, and the location quiet enough for a good night's rest."

"Both my husband and myself found the hotel to be just perfect location walk to the beach ideal for children..especially in summer months. Breakfast was great ample choice. However we found our bedroom overlooking the garden a little sparce could do with additional decorative objects to give it more appeal.."

"Lovely hotel and the staff are fantastic the lady on reception when we checked in was so nice. Room was lovely and clean and good selection of teas and coffee. The jacuzzi bath didn’t work unfortunately and we found the bed a bit to soft for us but thats personal preference. We usually stay at the sister hotel across the road but actually prefer this one. Highly recommend and booking to go back in July for our daughters graduation."

"I usually stayed in the town centre before but thought I'd branch out due to the noise from the clubs etc and I'm glad I did. The Pavilion Arms is in a decent location, close enough to walk to town, and has parking. Surprisingly, blissfully quiet at night (once the downstairs door stopped banging around 11pm). The room was delightful, nicely equipped and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was yum! All the staff were super nice. Thank you."
