"A lovely old property(150 years old) where they have kept some of the original features. I think it is due for an update in a few years but I hope they keep some of the original features. We stayed in the Coastguard cottages which were excellent but connected to the hotel with a covered walkway. The staff were excellent and very obliging. The evening meals were excellent although breakfasts were typical large hotel buffet style.i would still recommend it though."

"The hotel is situated in a quiet area just about a 10 minutes leisurely walk from the town centre. There is an adequately sizes car park for all guests, complete with two EV charging points. Reception is clean and open, and you are welcomed warmly. At night, you have to ring to get in, the night porter is there promptly, and if yo want a late night drink, the well stocked bar is open 24 hours! Our room was very clean and tastefully decorated.
