Reception is clean and open, and you are welcomed warmly. "Lovely hotel. Looks to have been recently updated to good effect with lovely staff. Booked on a bit of a punt as we needed 2x rooms and was priced so well it was cheaper than a family room elsewhere for this. Delighted with outcome. Good car parking too."

"Both my husband and myself found the hotel to be just perfect location walk to the beach ideal for children..especially in summer months. Breakfast was great ample choice. However we found our bedroom overlooking the garden a little sparce could do with additional decorative objects to give it more appeal.."

"A lovely old property(150 years old) where they have kept some of the original features. I think it is due for an update in a few years but I hope they keep some of the original features. We stayed in the Coastguard cottages which were excellent but connected to the hotel with a covered walkway. The staff were excellent and very obliging. The evening meals were excellent although breakfasts were typical large hotel buffet style.i would still recommend it though."
