"The property was beautiful. The room is very comfortable and nice and cool. Air-conditioning worked great & loved the room had a ceiling fan as well. The pool area was very nice, but the beach was spectacular very comfortable and the service was great! Breakfast was delicious, lunch was good and dinners were OK. Drinks were all very good. We would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend it."

"Pros: Food is amazing!! Property feels safe, tranquil and very relaxing. Cenote room is private and very unique. Grounds are fun to walk and well taken care of. The spa was nice even if you don’t pay for a treatment. Cons: Room could’ve been cleaner. No dinning options with A/C. Facilities are showing age. Beach not good; rocks hiding underwater. Gift shop wants $37 dollars for a normal sized sunscreen. I went across the street and got two for $34. "

"This was our second stay at Marina El Cid and we loved it as much as our first. Beautiful resort! Staff were incredible, they work so hard to make your stay enjoyable. We love that you have access to all 3 hotels, it made for lots of options throughout the day for swimming, entertainment and meals. The food was delicious! Our favourite restaurants were the French and Teppanyaki. They are working hard to restore the beach but if you walk past the marina there is a beautiful beach to enjoy. We...
