Staff were friendly. Beautiful grounds. However, room did not have hot water. Maintenance was called out 3 times, then informed me that it was fixed, and to wait for it to get hot. Each time, it was 35mins wait. I can see maybe 10 min to get hot but 35 is a long time. It makes it so every time you use the toilet, you must wash in cold water. Then, the lights stopped working. It was not the power to the whole room, just all lighting. I was told maintenance was coming right away, but after waiting 45 mins I left the room. I had adjusted the room a/c warmer, but it never got warmer, even with the heater on. The bedding was all very thin sheets and no blanket to the side or on the couch or anything, so I had to sleep with both bath robes on top of the covers to stay warm, in a suite where I could not get warm by taking a hot shower unless I waited 35 mins.
When we checked in, we were given a whole show about free upgrades, and then the room I was âupgradedâ to didnât work, and was in a section right next to the construction of the resort next door. I heard construction noises constantly. If I went on the patio, even fully clothed and covered, I would get cat-called by the men working. I did not feel comfortable to be on the patio let alone lay out. Also we were told the resort was under-capacity, so one of the restaurants would be closed each night, yet I was not allowed to move rooms. My family also got the wrong room type, and one had to sleep on a couch.
