After a while they reached her by phone and she would be there in 15 minutes, and was told to take our orders and I paid for two 'specials'. "Great view of the pier from our generously sized double room. Staff pleasant and helpful. Hotel has car parking for around 10 cars, there was always a space available for us here. There was also free on street parking nearby but very few spaces available. Lovely 15 min walk up the cliff road to upper Bangor. Probably about a 20 min walk into the main town centre."

From the Y Capel it's a short walk to the Erskine Arms Hotel for check-in, breakfast, the bar. Easy access to downtown activities in Conwy. Even when the castle is closed (due to filming of some made- for- TV dweeb series) you can still walk around a bit and enjoy the view. Nice sitting area in Y Capel which we did not use.
