"A lovely friendly welcome from Michael at reception. All the staff were great. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The fan was a definite bonus in the hot weather although the room stayed fairly shaded too. There was some traffic noise but it didn't disrupt my sleep at all (room 16). "We only had a short stay there but the hotel and rooms are spotless, staff friendly and helpful, excellent food and well stocked bar. Ample parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to go back again. Thanks guys and gals 👍"

"The room was spacious with a good amount of storage whilst the room did not have air conditioning it was cool and a comfortable temperature, which to say it was 30 degrees outside was good. There was a fan available, but we didn't need to use it. Room was clean and the bathroom was acceptably clean. There was however slight mould spots on some of the grouting and sealant in the shower. "Enjoyed our stay here, it’s a good base close to the train station but was very quiet. The room was comfortable with a nice firm bed and the air con was appreciated in this heat wave. We had one breakfast which was good, plenty of choice and everything we had was of great quality. Only negative was the bathroom light is on a sensor and is very very bright if you need to use the bathroom in the night."
