"Positives: Hotel was clean, quiet and newish. Breakfast goodish. Negatives Bed too soft. Room nyc-like small. My card was overcharged at the front desk compared to the amount I was expecting as per expedia. When I advised the front desk they were was not particularly understanding or even believing. I had to show my expedia booking on my phone to be believed: the desk person mentioned there was a disconnect between expedia and the hotel systems, whatever that means. "Had a very good stay but we had one issue. The whole water pressure in the bathroom was awful, not easy at all to have a nice shower. The shower head also was leaking."

"The room was very clean, and tastefully decorated. Bathroom was extremely clean. The hotel is located very close to both town centre and train station. Staff very helpful. We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay."

"I had a really wonderful time staying here. The breakfast was very tasty, the garden was beautiful and I felt really looked after. I would definitely come back again! Only small issue was the parking. Luckily it is not busy so there is parking at the back but I can feel this might come to issue since it's a small car park and you dont want to park on the side of the road but tbh this is very minor and it's a bit nitpicking as I have really enjoyed my stay."

"Enjoyable 2 night stay with my mother in a spacious twin room. Room fan provided to help with heatwave. Ample room refreshments and willingly replenished, Excellent breakfast. The mostly young staff were friendly, very helpful and professional. The downstairs interior was modern and comfortable with a lovely, airy seaside feel. Kept very clean inside and outside.
