"The property is showing it’s age. The location is central to many downtown locations. The parking is confusing as to what free to use vs paid to use. Thankfully the valet was helpful. The property shares footprint with Ruth Chris steakhouse. That is the best reason to stay"

"Hotel was in poor shape. Smoke detectors in the hallways were taped up, so they couldn’t have worked. Linens on bed were terrible. Pillows were tiny. Towels in bathroom were a mix between cardboard and sand paper. Fire alarm went off at 1;30 am, all guests were left standing outside and no one notified us that it was safe to go back in. We eventually just went in on our own. "

"The hotel is presumably undergoing renovations and improvements. That's good news -- it needs it. Our room was clean, but in disrepair, with broken drawers, unattached molding around the 'kitchenette', burners that did not work. It's in a dicey (yet nice, with the adjacent riverwalk) part of town, hence, locked outside doors that require a key card. Staff was friendly & knowledgable, with the security deposit ($100) returned in the advised 'few days'. All in all, OK."

"Kitchen was fine. We were able to cook breakfast. It was still a little too cool for the pool, but it looked nice. "

"The room looks like it had been hardy in and they had things hanging with things peeling missing paint. The baseboards were dirty. There was constant bug problem. The the door needed to be replaced or have weatherstrips added to it because there was daylight coming through at the bottom and on the door handle side of the door. We asked other guests if they had bugs they said yes this place should not be listed because it’s a bad part of town according to locals and they nickname this place the hooker hotel the pictures were deceiving and it feels like a waste of money "
