"This small hotel is an incredibly peaceful oasis. The food offerings were absolutely impeccable! There are no gym facilities but the private onsen is a wonderful way to end your day after touring the surroundings of Hakone. The care and attention from the staff was top notch! Our tea ceremony shortly after arriving was a wonderful way to get introduced to the hotel and the types of tea and wagashi available to us during our stay. "We really enjoyed the hotel as it was very modern and had a unique Japanese style. The pool area and onsen were really luxurious and the food was fine dining and the kids meals were fantastic. The only slight negatives were that the hotel is a 10 minute drive from Gora station and the shuttle buses are not that frequent also the wine was very expensive and it was quite hard to find the onsen as we didn't know it was in the seperate changing rooms. Overall a lovely stay and would recomemnd."
