"I had a beautiful one hour full body massage from the therapist. She uses oils that are produced by the owner. My wife and I enjoyed two glorious days at the retreat. The rooms and verandahs are astounding with particular care given to the quality of the building and its surrounds. All our meals were served by experienced friendly staff and nothing could be faulted. We could truthfully say that no one would be disappointed with this lovely place. We were truly sad to leave."

"The place and the resort are amazing, but the main drawback is that the toilet is located outside the room in an open space. This setup is particularly inconvenient at night. Similarly, the shower is also in an open area, which adds to the discomfort. Dinner is served in very small portions—especially the rice, which was limited to just two tablespoons. Aside from these issues, the location itself is lovely."

"It's a beautiful newish property with spectacular views!! It was clean and staff was super helpful and friendly. The only negative is that it is hard to find - no signs on main street and kind of bad path off the main road. The outside of the property seems to be worked on still so hopefully it will all be resolved once finished. Also not much to do right around there - but that is probably the case for many places around Bali."

"Excellent overall experience. The level of service was very high, comfortable and well appointed seperate bungalows set in a beautiful tropical garden. Staff super friendly , always kind and helpful . Great on site restaurant, tasty , thoughtful and generous menu. Breakfast was included in my booking, and it was superb. Highly recommend this place ! "Værelset og badeværelset er smukt og smagfuldt indrettet. Alle værelser har egen møbleret terasse. Personalet er meget smilende og imødekommende og behjælpelig på alle måder. Poolen er ren og lækker og det tilhørende boblebad er en stor fornøjelse. Beliggenheden er i top direkte ud til stranden, hvor betagende solnedgange kan nydes. Hotellets have er smuk og super velholdt, og beliggenheden betyder at der ingen støj er."

"From the moment I arrived, I was utterly captivated by the magnificence of Shankara Munduk Bali. I went here with my friend from Japan and they really like it. The villa itself is clean, very affordable price for this luxury accommodation and it’s near from banyumala waterfall and lake tamblingan as well. The breakfast itself, I really love the Munduk Pancake, it’s unique and not too sweet. After went to waterfall, I ate lunch in the villa. The Indonesian food was amazing, love the plating....

"Spontan gefunden und absolut Happy mit der Wahl. 2 sehr nette junge Männer haben uns einen tollen Abend erleben lassen. Lecker Dinner und ein Feuer gegen die Kälte. Wir wussten gar nicht, dass es in Bali abends so kalt sein kann. Die Container bieten Alles was man braucht und wie haben super geschlafen. The place is ran by a loving family, who goes above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasent stay. They helped us book tours, gave us names of great local eats, and even allowed us to check out at 4pm so that we would have enough time to visit one more waterfall, come back to the hotel and shower before leaving.
