"A charming Gastropub hotel on the edge of Epping Forest conveniently located near Chingford overground station with direct links to Liverpool St. The hotel is a tudor style timber and white plaster building with stained glass windows amongst many other old world embellishments. "My bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed and modern. The only thing I would say was that the twin room that I was in wasn't really suitable for business travellers as it didn't have a proper desk. I used the bar instead which was a little noisy. I discovered after going to bed that the smoke/fire detector had a red flashing light on it which illuminated the whole bedroom and disturbed me when going to sleep. Also the car park is not big enough for the hotel size, meaning...
