"What a lovely night away we had, the hotel is stunning and probably the best small hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was huge and decorated to a very high standard. The owners are so nice from start to finish and can’t do enough for you. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel."

It was also great that they encouraged us to bring takeaway back to the lounge when their own restaurant is not serving - a good way to support neighbouring businesses. "

"Beautiful room and bathroom The staff was friendly and helpful The restaurant was delicious It would be nice to be told ahead of time that the Sunday roast sells out withtin and hour or 2. We based our stay on that and made dinner reservations but they had sold out of the Sunday roast by our reservation time. We would have prepared or planned better if we were advised about this. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Hotel. Great location central very close to the Jahangir indian restaurant we had booked a meal at. Very clean room, comfy bed, nice shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. A nice trolley was in room with coffe, tea facilities and jelly beans and biscuits. "Morag and Davey were wonderful hosts with a beautiful home. Morag making sure I was happy and making a beautiful cooked breakfast every day I was there. Davey even reinflated my tyre with his tractor so I could get my car to the local tyre fitting place.
