"Room was spacious, staff were very friendly and helpful. We managed to charge our car for free with the destination Tesla charger. Pool was really warm - didn’t mind the charge of £5 per person per day - we were informed of this beforehand so no surprises there. Did not eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food "

"We had a wonderful 2 night stay at The Crown Inn. The location is perfect and easy to find, parking was simple in the car park opposite. We had the four poster room which was amazing. Very spacious and a massive bathroom too. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We loved our stay "

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tastefully furnished. The hotel is advertised as Spa with pool. But the pool is undergoing a major refurb. This is only notified on the day of check in. So it’s a bit disingenuous to advertise the pool. I’m sure it will be fine once it’s operational. "

"Whilst the staff are friendly and the restaurant and bar are nice, the room and the nights stay are something else . It doesn't bother me that they are dated and basic.....but, the smell of dirty toilet and damp was probably a little much. Not to mention an early wake up call with what sounded like a continuous rattling washing machine on high spin which went on for most of the morning. I never complain, unless I really have to....and this is one of those times "

"Upon arrival, I was initially assigned an occupied room. The place was unstaffed, and the provided phone number was unreachable. I had to ask other guests for an alternative number. I called, texted, and left a WhatsApp message on that number, but received no response for at least an hour.When I finally received a text message with details for a new room, I found the bed was broken and the room was freezing cold. A staff member told me he would come to fix the issue but ultimately never showed...

"Great hotel. Staff were good but let down with restaurant weekend staff that could have done more. I kinda felt they didn't make an effort asking a colleague or finding out to andwer my questions instead of just saying "I don't know" Got my simple request wrong 3 times which was a shame. In the end I didn't insist anymore as I felt will just add to my stress."

"Quite pleased with service all around. I checked in early and there was a fee but not what other hotels in area are charging. No food available until 5:00pm. That’s when restaurant opens. Food choices were good for evening meals "
