The walls in particular were yellow and marked, including hand prints on the walls and mould on the curtains (pictured attached). "Terrible hotel. Would avoid! Rang me on the day of check-in to say that the hotel was overbooked. I was then told that, as compensation for THEIR error, they would put me in a 'sister' hotel, which in fact looked like a 1970s pub and was not at all a like-for-like swap. "Pros: Amazing Aircon. Essential in British Heatwave. Comfortable bed. Quiet room. Nice and dark. Fabulous shower. Cons: Bar area was noisy and only catered table wise to large groups not to a singleton like me. Car charger did not work. Not hotels fault. But couldn't charge car. Hotel parking lot rammed with club/pool goers. No reserved parking for hotel guests. Had to shlep suitcases across carpark. Only English Breakfast tea in room. No proper tea.
