"Friendly staff. Excellent food offering. Good location. A shame about my shower control falling apart and an extractor unit that looked as though it had seen better days. In the heat, the air conditioning in the room was excellent and very welcome. It would have been nice if it had operated throughout the hotel. I will be happy to stay there again"

"I really enjoyed this property for two nights. It was a self check in - check out. A packed breakfast was left in the room with fresh fruit , orange juice and milk including teas and coffee packets. Very handy for our visit to Stonehenge."

"Rooms were nice and clean, check in swift and staff friendly. Had the worst nights sleep of my life though. Had to move rooms at 12am as couldn’t get to sleep in my first room due to a constant drone sound from a pump in the building. Reception staff moved me immediately. Finally settled down in the new room only for the fire alarm to go off at 2am. I’m sure my experience would’ve been fine had it not been for those problems"

"Very pretty property, with a great view. A little distance from the city center, but they run a most friendly and flexible shuttle into town that works great, very good idea and a very commendable effort. Breakfast is good. We had a large room (2 adults 2 kids) very spacious. Some aspects of maintenance could be improved, but it is always a challenge with these country homes, they have the charm, but not everything is impecable.
