"The hotel and property were gorgeous. They only had two elevators and one was broken, so we got to use the stairs a lot. The property is huge and with one working elevator, there was always a long line. They also forgot to replenish things like the wipes for the workout equipment. You had to tell the staff what was needed. The coffee shop was super slow and you also waited in a long, slow line there. Better to leave the hotel for,coffee. "It’s a fine hotel with a couple of small-ish items to address: 1) shower doors make it impossible to take a shower without getting water all over the floor of the toilet / shower room; 2) glass door separating toilet / shower room clangs on the metal stopper every time it opens. Use bigger shower doors and put padding on the door bracket. Simple to fix. We were in a jr suite for three nights."

"I'm not into rating or reviews, but I must bring to attention a couple of things. Let me first point out that during check in the staff was very helpful and courteous. The young man behind the desk explained everything clearly, including the renovations that the hotel was going thru. The room was flawless. Clean and comfortable. The two things I want to point out is one, around 8:45 am housekeeping entered the room. Not a huge problem, but something that should be addressed. Especially if check...

"The front desk staff was amazing! The rest of the staff was not. Their customer service was terrible, they weren’t helpful with information about THEIR OWN hotel and amenities. The thermostat also suddenly stopped working so we couldn’t control the air. The speakeasy was so overrun with non-hotel guests that we couldn’t get in after paying almost $400 for one night. Kinda defeats the purpose of an onsite bar/speakeasy."

"Let’s start with a great location on Rhode Island at 14th, then add in a friendly, responsive staff, combine with comfy beds and great baths and you have a great hotel. This is our new go to property in DC."
