"We stayed five nights at the Sheraton Soma Bay Resort with my wife and teen daughter in a luxury suite to wrap up our extensive Egypt trip. The room was beautifully furnished with 3 balconies providing 270 degree view. The property’s true strength is its beautiful beach and sunset views. The main shortcomings is a very limited number of restaurants (2) which is rather unusual for such a sprawling resort. All in all, an excellent stay."

"Great hotel with a spectacular view of the pyramids. All amenities are well maintained and the staff was terrific. Definitely recommend this place. The only negative i would mention is that while it's convenient to see the pyramids, it's a 30-45 minute ride to other attractions in downtown Cairo. Also, breakfast buffet will cost you about $35."

"Typical upscale airport hotel. Good Buffet breakfast. Parking is NOT free as they charged us 80 Egyptian Pounds to park for 1 hour to unload our baggage. Sign said 200EP ($4) to park overnight. Wifi is nearly useless - both in the lobby area and in our smallish room. Smoking allowed in the lobby area. Frequent free airport shuttle van very convenient."

"The property is fantastic. Clean with all the amenities you need. Spacious. Clean. Only suggestion is the host needs to communicate to get the key. We were early and it took a local to find the place. It is attached to the ocean blue property and that is on Google maps. Host needs to what's app to get the key more clearly. Other than that it was a great stay. I would recommend it to every one."

"The location is great as its near the airport,The staff seemed friendly and happy to help.The hotel does seem old and it does show within the hotel decor and fittings.The room was clean.We had a set menu for evening dinner which was dissapointing for the price but we made do as we were tired and didnt want to go looking else where to eat.The hotel provided transport to the airport the following morning at a small cost which was handy.If you want a clean room for a day or 2 near the airport I would recommend this hotel but if your looking for luxury and more than a couple of nights I would look elsewhere.I would also eat outside the hotel if I was to ever to go back as I felt the food offered was not good value for the price."

"The Staff was really everything so friendly professional helpful the location was great the hotel itself was really nice only negative was a weird smell in the bathroom but we were too taken with view from our room and the hotel in its entirety was just great definitely recommend"
