"We booked a partial ocean view room and received exactly that. The place was clean, with only a few minor issues, such as a leaking shower cabin and plastic covering on the mattress, which made the nights overheate. Overall, it was excellent value for money. The location was close to the beach and transport links. It was quiet, and the staff were friendly."

"I wouldn’t actually return to Puerto Rico due to the hills but the Servatur Montebello itself was just what I was looking for. The guys in reception were so friendly & helpful, the apartment was clean and the pool was beautiful. My only two issues were the tiny weeny bugs that were prevalent in the kitchen area (quite a lot, even though I kept killing them) & a lack of kitchen equipment (general crockery but no extras for food prep or storage). Other than than (& the walk back up after going out), I had a wonderful time."

"Very spacious and clean stay with a big balcony and an amazing sea view. All staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. If you're after a quiet and peaceful stay with a great view then this is the place. However, would not recommend with people with mobility issues as it is quite a lot of steps to get up and down the hill it's situated in. Taxis are decently priced to around €4 from/to the commercial centre. I will definitely comeback to this hotel!"

"Great location in Puerto Rico, down 182 steps to the main shopping centre with lots of bars, shops and restaurants. Great sized pool, although wasn’t heated so in April was freezing cold! Decent pool bar, although food a little expensive for the portion sizes and quality. Great apartment with all the things you need, clean and decent sized balcony with great views. Would stay again. "

"Terrible. My husband ended up in hospital for 2 nights after eating in the A La Carte. He had prawns, the most likely cause of his acute, rapid onset violent symptoms of D and V with subsequent loss of conciouseness. They deny all and refuse any possible causitive link with his illness. "
