"Our room was very dirty. There was pink scum around the basin and bath. Cobwebs above the bath. The laminate flooring was uneven and chipped. There were food crumbs in the bedside drawers. I don’t think this room has been cleaned for a while. Breakfast was ok. The fridge where the bottle milk was kept in the breakfast room had dirty stains and hair on the bottom of it. I’m glad the milk was in capped bottles. The staff were very friendly. I guess this place was cheap for a reason!!!"

"Het ontbijt was goed en uitgebreid. Er waren verschillende soorten vers fruit, warme gerechten en nog veel meer. Erg vriendelijk personeel. De kamer was heel klein en warm. We hadden een piep klein raam daardoor kwam er weinig frisse lucht binnen. De matras was smal en oud. Je voelt de veren erdoor komen. Ik zou niet meer terug gaan naar dit hotel."

"Very basic hotel, fine if you just need somewhere to sleep for the night. Hot taps are very hot and water pressure is very high, so difficult to get the flow and temperature right for a shower, without it being too hot or too cold, or blasting water horizontally. Shower curtain very small so bathroom floor is flooded after a shower. Beds are very hard and not very comfortable. I only booked this because nothing else was available (high demand due to BTCC at Thruxton). Staff was very friendly...

"First room we stay was next to a very busy road so if you are like me and prefer a quiet night sleep then i would recommend to put in requests un before you arrive. Rooms was lovely decorated however the cleaning was quite poor a lot of dust not sure if that was living up to living in a paddock but could do with some attention. "What a fabulous place to stay. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The pub and the outdoor areas are wonderful the food and drinks plentiful and delicious.
