"I liked staying at the Trapp Hotel Monteverde that I rearranged our travel plans to stay an extra night! The hotel is beautifully maintained and everyone was kind and hospitable. The breakfast was delicious and the RESTAURANT was amazing!! We stayed 5 nights and ate there every night. The chicken salad and beef tenderloin with fresh mushrooms and mashed potatoes were next level. We stayed in the forest suite, with giant picture windows and a king size bed. The beds are firm but felt good for our backs. One note, if you’re staying here bring your own snacks. Other than that, 11/10. Here’s why: Hospitality: we checked in really late the 1st night, and they were kind enough to accommodate that. The security guard walked us to our room and offered to help carry luggage, he is so kind. The front desk employees are patient and kind too! Safety: There is an awesome security guard patrolling at night, and our room was enclosed securely in a locked hallway (we lock it from the inside). I never felt unsafe and even walked around the hotel at night to look at bugs and nocturnal animals. Suite: Firm bedding, plenty of outlets, large bathroom and picture windows. Eco-friendly toiletries that smell out of this world! No microwave or fridge. Not really needed. Proximity: An easy 10-15 minute walk to Monteverde Cloud Forest and Cafe Colibrí! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will hopefully be back again next year :)"

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. We kept asking them for great places to eat and they always had a new place for us to go that was amazing. The apartment we stayed at had a fireplace that my wife enjoyed at night and an arcade game for the kids to play with. It was a great place for us to relax at the end of the day and get ready for the next days activities."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel for three nights. The location is excellent and very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the on-site restaurant, which was outstanding. We enjoyed dinner there every night during our stay because the food was consistently excellent. The chocolate ice cream was especially memorable—rich, unique, and absolutely delicious. The waiter and waitress who served us each evening provided exceptional service. They were attentive, welcoming, and made every dining experience enjoyable. Overall, we loved our stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended!"

"Property was amazing and staff are very warm and helpful. Trails on the property are very nice. Definitely do the night tour as the guide was able to find sloths, tarantulas, green viper, and kinkajou. We did not use the pool. Restaurant on site was reasonably priced and very good food."

"Lovely hotel, great location and fantastic staff. The only thing that let's it down are the rooms which are a little basic and have very little sound insulation so we could here everything in the bar at night or kids making noise next door or as soon as staff were walking early morning. Other than that a great location, decent breakfast, lovely pool and bar area and super helpful and friendly staff."
