There was visible dirt and grime in all of the corners and even a pretzel on the floor. Our room was filled with the smell of pot at one point in the night. Walls were thin. "The hotel is in need of some serious restoration. My room had horrible moldy caulking around the bathtub, sink and shower area. Disgusting.The room smelled like dank gym socks and somebody had been smoking in there at one point although the room is non-smoking. The hot water did not last very long. And the shower head..... "The staff were wonderful. The room we stayed in was just remodeled and I believe that we were the first ones to stay in it. A lot of the motel is still under renovation, so it is messy from the work, but the new rooms are great. Only complaint is the bed was put on an aluminum platform. I found it quite easy to accidentally kick it when walking up to the bed. Sounds like a gong going off. Startling. Especially when my wife was asleep "

The building is an older establishment and maintaining a hotel in this day and age is a financial challenge, however the staff here are hard working and doing their best to provide a save and comfortable stay.
