"We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. First thing u need to know is the 3rd bedroom downstairs has a single bed. This threw things out for us as our youngest didn't want to sleep downstairs on her own, so our giant teenager had to have a single bed while the younger child had a double bed all to themselves. Knowing the layout would have changed my decision. The downstairs of the villa was freezing, the air con wasn't working properly. How a property doesn't have proper heating in the NZ winter is...

"Room was not clean dirty towels cups and unmade bed. Property owners were not available. It was the worst experience. We had to book else where and now no refund is being processed we are completely disgusted in the service from Expedia and the Rayville boat house it’s unacceptable. We drove 3 hours to find a room unusable and then not being able to get in contact with the owner then they contact back hours later after we had to find somewhere else. Worst experience. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Te Etu villas as it was lovely and quiet (some nights dogs going off). Mama Dor missed us but left some beautiful passionfruit which was lovely. There were a couple of things maintenance wise that could bring the property up to excellent. The set up is fab with g8 outdoor area and the pool and plenty of space inside for the 2 of us. The downside is the property next door when occupied with 5 kids meant that our peace and quiet was no more so would be worth checking b4...
