"Lovely location, great family atmosphere"

"We've stayed at this hotel before and there are things we love and things that lead to a 3 star review. The staff are lovely and the location is great. The hotel itself is a bit dated and the pillows were awful. In addition, the $30 "inclusion fee" doesn't include anything. No breakfast, no pool/hot tub, and the "free bikes" are only for 2 hours unless they happen to be checked out as well. Overall, it feels like a junk fee and we probably won't be coming back."

"Although we were only there for one night we still had a pleasant stay. The room was spacious and the bathroom was also spacious and clean. We had a small view of the ocean from our balcony. Unfortunately it rained a bit. We will definitely be back and stay at this Hilton again. "

"The hotel is not in it's heyday, but it does have that incredible charm of being an historic hotel. If you want a unique experience and a real fun place to stay, its a nice place. The beach motif in every room which differs every time you stay. Parking is tight but manageable. I say pack light because there are a lot of stairs and walkways if you have a room away from the beach. And your front porch is the beach, so it is all worth it."

"The staff was great, and the hotel grounds are stunning, but for the price paid we were expecting a few better perks, i.e., the in-room coffee was Maxwell House, and the mattress was too firm for our taste. That said, the view is nothing short of amazing!"

"Upon arriving we were pleased to see how close we were to the beach and our favorite place to get clam chowder and lobster rolls- Splash Cafe! Check in was fast, easy and super friendly, I believe Jennifer helped us and she was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Our room the captains quarters was spacious and nicely stocked with everything needed in the kitchen and extra bedding in the closet. The king size bed was very comfortable. The three things that bring down my rating are 1) the dirty,...

"The property is pretty new so all the decors and facilities are stylish and up-to-date. Breakfast is fresh with lots of choices, however, we were there on a busy weekend so they ran out of ceramic plates and mugs and we had to use paper / plastic utensils. Overall a very nice and clean hotel with friendly staff."
