"Lovely old building, good location exceptional breakfast. Parking is a bit of a nightmare after a 10 point turn in the car park had to find parking across the road which was no problem for my little car but you might struggle with a bigger car."

"Accommodation is fine. Breakfast menu is a selection of fried, unhealthy or coated in butter. Needs to be better to compete with other local providers"

"Our second stay at this lovely hotel. It’s elegant without being stuck up. All the staff were lovely. I had the most fantastic green curry in Drakes restaurant; a good nights sleep in very comfortable bed; a great breakfast (yogurt, fresh pineapple and fruit coulis especially appreciated!); and a nice dip in the pool before leaving. Thanks!"

"Stayed for one night, with my son, for a Mazda MX5 car meet up in the car park- the reason for our stay. The hotel is very nice. We had a meal in the Savvy Fox - i like the decor. The meal was very nice - but not cheap. The twin room was very basic, but was clean and adequate for a one night stay. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. "Quiet room though we were on the ground floor and had no view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were fine; the best onion bhajis of my life so they are THOROUGHLY recommended. We went in the sauna and the outdoor hot tub- that was amazing. All in all, a good stay and I would definitely return."

"We booked two rooms,holes in ceilings and old parts of things that no longer work left in place,cobwebs all around inside of window and the panelling on the floor around windows full of dust,very warm and humid rooms had to spend time outside in car to cool,would not stay again awful."
