"Great place to stay in Reykjavic! The hotel has an amazing spa! The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast is really good - as is the dinner (get the fish & chips!). Helpful staff at spa and front desk."

"We stayed here on two separate nights during a two week vacation in Iceland. It is self check in. There was no staff that we know about. The rooms were adequate and the room that we had was big enough for myself and my two adult boys (early to mid 20's). Room was clean. The location was perfect, right downtown and not too too far from the bus station, a short ride by scooter. On our second night though we were awakened by a fire alarm at 2 am. Based on how long it took us and many others to get out of the hotel and onto the street, well, all I can say is that it was a good thing it was a false alarm. That whole ordeal ate up about an hours worth of time before someone from the alarm company arrived and shut off the alarm and allowed everyone back into the building. All of that aside, I'd stay here again. You cannot beat the location and the price was reasonable."

"Excellent location close to all the sights downtown easy walking. Wonderful staff. Breakfast was good although no decaf hot beverages available. Room was well appointed although with the dark walls and furnishings it was dark even with all the lights on and window curtains open. Fine for us but maybe not if you have to work in the room."
