"Warm welcome and friendly staff, however quite a modest property even for a BnB and at this price point. Small room with very small shower. Fine breakfast but only instant freeze dried coffee, and few options if you don't want a fry up. Immediate area full of litter on streets (like most of Barry). I know this isn't their fault but it's a location point. Overall a fine place to stay but I'm surprised current reviews are quite so high -- afterall, a warm and friendly welcome should be expected...

"Excellent stay , good value for money, all staff were professional while remaining friendly and approachable (which in hospitality) can sometimes be a challenge. Location was great for Cardiff Pride , the parking was a bit unclear but I was happy to leave my veichle in John Lewis . I will certainly be booking again . Thank you all for a great weekend."

"Room was large, comfortable and had everything you need for an extended stay. Contactless checkin instructions were a bit confusing but in the end I got to my room. The room was modern but could have used a deep clean. Hallways were very noisy due to a family in the neighbouring room (otherwise would probably not have been a problem). Onsite laundry room was not as described in the listing - only one washer/drier and no air dryers on loan and the room was not secured (lock broken). The building...

"Friendly, helpful staff. Nice size rooms & could control the temperature of the room. Handy to have a fridge. The breakfast choice was great & the cooked breakfast lovely & tasty. Will definitely stay again. Good location for Cardiff Castle for the concert we were attending there & also just a few minutes walk from the shops."
