"Perfect location for the Colosseum and Forum. Easy access to the Metro to reach other areas like the Vatican. Excellent nearby restaurants, which are good value, even those adjacent to the sites, that was a surprise! "It was about a 15-20min walk from the train station. There are quite a few restaurants nearby. The area seemed safe with great access to the public transportation system. The room was clean."

"This is perfect place to stay close to Coloseum - only 5 minut walk. The check in process is unconventional - the desk is not staffed most of the day and you have to communicate via WhatsApp. The AC worked fine but it started making some noise on our last night. The one thing that needs to be looked into is the shower - poor draining and water goes from super hot to cold on it own intermittently. If that is fixed, I would stay there again."

"We received an "upgrade" to the basement spa room which had a private jacuzzi & sauna. The jacuzzi expelled a small amount of some type of black substance from the floor filter so it when unused. The internet did not work in the room. One shower drain (very long type) had a loud/constant drip originating from some other location/source. We used two towels to muffle the sound. Coming back from a hot morning walk to the staff saying they were draining/filling the jacuzzi and we could not shower...

"Stayed overnight before our flight the next day. Pros: 1. It is very close to the Colosseum. The doorway is literally right in front of it and you will be greeted with the amazing view. 2. There is an elevator and it is one of the older ones, and very charming. 3. Staff was friendly and responsive, and very detailed about how to get in the property, include also restaurant, grocery and pharmacy recommendations. 4. Close to the train station. 5. Washing machine was possessed. Secret Garden was a boxed patio. No balcony as in the pictures online. And still no closet. "Excellent location for most of the central attractions in Rome as most of them are walkable. Hotel is really clean and the mosaics on the floors and walls are stunning. This was our second stay at this hotel and would defo consider it again for whenever we go back. The hotel owners as generally onsite who are super friendly, and keen to help with any questions and local advice as well."

"This is the best bang for your buck. Rooms were fair size, very very clean. Staff were very helpful (even helped with restaurant suggestions, and they were right the food was amazing where they suggested) air conditioned. Location was perfect. 8 minute walk from train station, 15 minutes to the fountain and 8 minutes from the colosseum. We will 100% stay here when we come back."
