B&B di Bath and North East Somerset

"Fab breakfast. Staff really helpful. Room great despite it being the end of the summer season. Parking free. Bit of a hill, but evening views are beautiful. Would happily go back."

"*AVOID AT ALL COSTS* We booked a stay in the Superior Room. We never received the code to get into the building. Upon attempting to open the door without the code, it was simply unlocked! (No security.) Had to call the property manager for room key access. Upon inspecting our room, we spotted the following: Bathroom: tub rotting, grout and cocking in series disrepair, ventilation fan broken, ceiling bubbling, toilet valve broken, two mosquitos and two small flies in bathroom, cobwebs, spring...

"the room was cute, but the walking space around the bed was so small and tight that a bigger person would have had a hard time fitting. we felt that they should have mounted the tv on the wall and gotten rid of some of the furniture to make more room. there wasn’t even enough space to open our suitcases without putting them on the bed one at a time. but otherwise it was charming, great location, and clean!"

"Everything perfect! I like the candy’s !"

"Absolutely wonderful! We loved our host and appreciate his helpfulness and conversation!"

"Beau, bon et pas très cher!"

"The Rose and Crown was an absolute delight. The property was so sweet, the room clean, cute and comfortable. The location excellent, close to Bath but a quiet oasis out of the hustle and bustle. The food at the pub was delicious and well valued. Would highly recommend."

"Please don’t be put off by the external appearance as the rooms are beautiful, really comfy bed and spotless! The food is lovely, all fresh and well cooked. The staff are really friendly and helpful."

"We arrived at check in time. No one was on the premesis and they did not answer the phone number provided. The lady at the next door property finally contacted the owner and he said he would be there in 15 minutes. We waited 1.5 hours and he never showed up. We wound up renting another hotel. Don't book this property. Unbelievably poor experience."

"We had a wonderful stay in Bath. The Bathhouse B & B is centrally located and in easy walking distance to Roman Baths, Jane Austen Centre, and other sights. There is even parking! The room was lovely and the breakfasts were excellent. The service was exceptional—would recommend to travelers looking for a special place."

"We were given a full tour of the boat we had reserved with instructions on how to start the engine to make hot water, starting the furnace, etc. but the number of beds had unexpectedly changed (Cru Houseboats was under new ownership since we booked our stay) and the requirements for operating the boat did not appeal to us so we did not stay there. The staff were extremely helpful in finding a hotel late in the day that was close by. "

"Weekend break to visit Xmas market. Peter & Margarita made us feel very welcome and very helpful especially with the area and local attractions. Location of hotel was perfect for central Bath. View from our room was lovely as we could see the Abbey all lit up for Christmas. Only negative was the bed was a bit hard, maybe a mattress topper would make a difference. Breakfast was ideal, and Peter & Margarita would do anything for you. Fantastic weekend at the Elgin Villa, would highly recommend."
