"It is a small, boutique like hotel. We were in room 9, a twin attic room on the 5th floor. There is no lift but we were aware of that when booking. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Its compact but had everything we needed, including a good choice of hot drinks and a kettle. Breakfast was amazing, good choices and perfectly cooked and served by friendly staff. "Lovely apartment with a kitchen. We were expecting more on the breakfast part since it’s called a bed & breakfast. We love the classic bed & breakfast and have stayed in a lot of them around the UK, so a bit disappointing on that part. Other than that the place was clean, cosy and we had a great stay. "

"The Bath House was clean and comfortable and extremely convenient for the city centre and all the sights. Sam and Steph were very friendly and welcoming and willing to help with any questions we had. Parking is tight but is definitely a bonus for the centre of Bath. Our room was a bit smaller than I imagined from the photos but was very clean, the bed was comfortable and was well equipped with everything thought of right down to a phone charger plug. "I would highly recommend that people stay at Apple tree guest in Bath it is a lovely place to stay and five minutes to walk to centre. Long is an amazing host very welcoming and her knowledge is second to none. Fantastic breakfast to start the day and nothing too much trouble for her. "Weekend break to visit Xmas market. Peter & Margarita made us feel very welcome and very helpful especially with the area and local attractions. Location of hotel was perfect for central Bath. View from our room was lovely as we could see the Abbey all lit up for Christmas. Only negative was the bed was a bit hard, maybe a mattress topper would make a difference. Breakfast was ideal, and Peter & Margarita would do anything for you. Fantastic weekend at the Elgin Villa, would highly recommend."

"Staying on the houseboat was certainly the unique experience that we'd hoped it to be. We arrived later than planned but a quick call to the host helped us navigate to the parking area and gave us directions to meet him at the boat.
