"I enjoyed this property because it is not far from the airport, Belize City, neighborhood convenience stores, or restaurants. It is a small bed and breakfast so you will get to know the owner and Ms. Pauline very well. Breakfast is always great and timely! They also have taxi drivers they use who are seemingly always avaiable for whenever you need to go somewhere but many things are in within walking distance."

There were restaurants within walking distance and even casino for a $5USD per person cab ride not too far. Belize is still very rustic but we were able to connect and relax. Communication while booking was timely and accurate. Upon arrival, my booked ride from the airport was prompt, and the driver gave me a local tour en route to the Guesthouse!
I was warmly greeted at the guesthouse by the owner, and even introduced to a family member!
At the Guesthouse, I enjoyed being “in Belize”—- I was at a small, family-owned lodging for my first two days...

"Lots of bugs inside and out. On the river so you have to get a boat ride and taxi to get places and it’s 10 or $15 USD each way. Not a convenient location unless you bring your own food, all the bug spray, don’t leave luggage open, don’t mind stinky dogs in your step and don’t plan to explore anywhere but there. Beds, bathrooms and kitchen did seem clean and the staff were friendly."
