"It took the guy on reception 15 minutes to answer the bell. And another 20 minutes to find my booking. They won't let u take the room key out of the hotel. He tried to persuade my to pay more to upgrade the room. And they have a notice up saying if you give them a five star review the will give you 10 percent off a room or £5 in cash. Clearly they know the are not up to standard."

"We checked in late night, sadly they have no room for the type of room that I have paid. I paid for executive room and the manager said that they are overbooked hence, can only give me a standard room (thats the only room left for that day). Helllowww, I have prepaid all my rooms and yet the hotel gave my room to someone who paid even lesser than me. "The staff at this hotel were fantastic and really were the only reason for the okay score.
I believe the hotel is going through a refurbishment and it really does need it.
We were in a superior family room in a separate building across the car park/front of the hotel which doesn’t have a bar or restaurant. You have to order room service or walk back to the main building for food or drinks.
The room was quite small and dated. The air conditioning didn ’t work which was addressed very quickly,...

"Property is located very close to Victoria Station. It was about a 15 minute walk to Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and London Eye. Underground stations and bus routes very close. Popular tour routes are near as well.
The property is actually a remodeled London Town home popular in the 1800s so rooms are small in comparison to today’s hotels. Bathrooms are very modern. Electric kettle and tea are in room.
Staff are very helpful in arranging tours and transportation."
