"View from the room was outstanding! Definitely worth visiting the hotel for this. Big comfy bed also. Location great on the seafront. Could hear noise from outside / other guests, but personally this didn't bother me. Hotel in general is tired around the edges, could do with a spruce up especially for the price you pay. Disappointing dinner in the restaurant - much better on offer in Brighton, would venture out. "

"Lovely property. Nice additional touches like the 4pm pour (free wine for hotel guests). Easy walk into the village or out into the gorgeous countryside."

"Ideal for shopping. Although parking was limited at the hotel, there was parking fairly opposite. Couldn't fault the staff, they were very friendly and accomodating."

"Reception was great: staff helpful and efficient. Parking was adequate. We were given a free upgrade and I’d recommend the room with access to the veranda. Bed was very comfortable. The evening meal was slightly disappointing. However, it didn’t warrant a fuss. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Alfriston is a small Town with several restaurants and bars. Also, a few shops. A short walk to the Church and Clergy house to visit. "

"Wonderful stay just 15 mins away drive from the cliffs, Val was so attentive and also was really kind to give us an upgrade spontaneously. This is a must if you travel around these areas and want to find a relaxing time."
