"Rooms are nice, pretty clean, love the kitchen nook, this visit our room seemed a bit smaller. Top sheet was torn. A bit noise this visit. Gym is simple. Dome area was locked. Breakfast was a better this trip versus last trip, there was more items and food available. The pool is a very nice area, no towels available this trip at pool area, nice hot tub, breakfast in in the pool bar area, there's a couple of tables to eat at, a counter at the bar to eat at. The bar is only open on weekends....

"The outdoor pool area looked lovely, but I did not have time to use that amenity. Room was spacious, bed comfortable. No wine glasses in room. Only paper or ceramic coffee cups available. Poor option for a wine country venue. Tacky. Had to pay extra for second log in fire place. Housekeeping knocked loud on my door even though I had the “do not disturb” sign on my door. It was 9 in the morning. Some how I was charged for two nights instead of one.??? Still working to resolve this error...

"Clean and pretty large room, and the price is expensive but very reasonable for summer season in St. Helena, where most places are in the $600-800 range, and this one almost half. Liked that it wasn’t “corporate”. The grounds are kept pretty nice. Also liked that it was pet friendly… easy a nice places to walk your pup around the hotel too. Peaceful spot overall and literally next to some of the world’s best restaurants and vineyards."
